How I Can Help

Collaborative Concert

Your entire organization of many ensembles has a major season performance. You have multiple groups performing separately, as well as combined pieces to begin and end the concert. You have a small army of volunteers eager to help, but they need direction. The stagehands know where everything is but don’t understand the unique details that your group requires. I can help.

You are collaborating with other ensembles for a major performance. Everyone has rehearsed diligently, but putting it (and them) all together is a huge task. The person giving direction needs to be professional, courteous, but also neutral and focused. I can help.

Festival Concert

Whether it is a one-day festival or week-long event, it will culminate in a grand performance. I can help you pull together the myriad elements of everyone’s work so all of the artists can focus on their performance. Some festivals bring together strong wills and relationship history. I can help you navigate not only the concert logistics, but the many diverse personalities so sound checks, rehearsal time, and the performance is not only aesthetically outstanding, but equitable.

Tour Performance

There are so many details to tend to when your ensemble is on the road. Meals, rooming lists, routes, activities, and so much more. And yet, the reason your group is traveling is to perform. Let me focus on the performance logistics so when you arrive at the venue, you can concentrate on the concert. I will be your liaison with the contact at the performance site(s), coordinate the rehearsal and performance, ensure that everything is set up as you need it, and set the stage for your artists to present a memorable concert.

Work with a tour company? No problem. I have long-standing relationships with many companies, and I have served as both a tour consultant and tour director. Our strengths will compliment each other and allow your ensemble to shine.

Production Consultant

Perhaps you have a special concert with unique production needs. Maybe it’s a concert that you envision that is unlike any other concert your ensemble has taken on before. Or maybe your operations person is no longer with your organization and you don’t have that trusted colleague who can just “make it all happen”. I can assume that role. Let’s talk about your vision, your concert, your performance, and your unique situation. Let us find the path to make your dream a reality.
